What affects the price, and when is best value?

The live price is always on baanyindee.com. What we can do is explain honestly why the price moves, so you can pick the dates and the room that give you the most for your money.

1. The season matters most

• Peak season (roughly mid-December to February). Dry, sunny, calm sea. Most of Europe, Australia and Asia are on holiday, so Patong is full and prices are at their highest. Christmas and New Year are the most expensive nights of the year anywhere in Phuket.
• Shoulder months (November, March, April). Often the sweet spot. The weather is mostly good, Patong is lively but not packed, and prices sit well below peak. Songkran (Thai New Year, mid-April) is a busy exception.
• Green season (May to October). Some rain, usually in short afternoon bursts, and sea swells on the west coast. It is the best-value time of the year to stay. The pools, views and shuttle work just the same.

2. Which room you choose

From entry to top, our rooms are Deluxe Pool View, Deluxe Sea View, Deluxe Pool Access, Suite with Pool View and Pool Suite. The price rises with the view and with direct pool access. Our tip: the sea-view rooms catch the sunrise, and pool-access rooms step straight into the water, which guests love most if they plan to spend afternoons at the resort. See the rooms.

3. How far ahead you book, and for how long

• Booking early for December to February secures the room type you want. Those weeks sell out.
• Last-minute deals mostly happen in green season.
• Longer stays usually work out better value per night, and on baanyindee.com they unlock extra perks with code DIRECT.

4. What is included, and what is not

Compare like with like. Some rates include breakfast, and some booking sites show a price without taxes and fees until the last step. Before you pay anywhere, check:

• Is breakfast included?
• Are taxes and service charge included?
• Can you cancel for free, and until when?

5. Where you book

The room is the same everywhere, but the extras are not. Booking on our own website means:

When is best value?

• Best overall value: November and early December, and March to April outside Songkran.
